Description
The Royal Canadian Mint has made a name for itself worldwide as the respected producer of some of the most beautiful and pure platinum coins available. Nowhere is this more evident than in the platinum Canadian Maple Leaf coin.
The obverse side of the coin bears the image of Great Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II in profile, as well as the inscription of her name, the face value of the coin and the year of production. The reverse side of the coin bears the image of the coin’s namesake, the maple leaf, Canada’s national symbol; additionally the reverse side features the inscription of the country of origin, the fineness of the coin, and its weight in ounces.
