These characteristics are all found in the gold American Eagle coins. Originally minted in 1986, the gold American Eagle has a fineness of .9167 fine gold, or 22 karat. Mint tubes of tenth ounce gold coins come in units of 50 coins. Each tube we ship out will have 50 tenth ounce gold brilliant uncirculated coins.
The obverse side of the coin bears an image originally designed for the United States mint over a century ago by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, and features the image of Lady Liberty confidently holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The reverse side carries the image of a bald eagle with its wings outstretched, flying towards its nest.
